Ocean Springs was named one of Coastal Living Magazines “Happiest Seaside Towns,” and Front Beach Cottages is in the heart of it all.

Situated only a block and a half away from the beautiful white sands of Front Beach, you’ll be able to take advantage of fishing piers, a splash pad, playground, covered pavilion, bonfire pits, volleyball courts, and a mile-long “on the beach” path for bikers, runners and walkers to enjoy breathtaking views. Along the way, stop and play chess in the oversized chess board located adjacent to the beach. Well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome, but please remember to clean up after Fido! Front Beach is truly a treasure of the Gulf Coast.

The Ocean Springs Harbor is right around the corner from us, where fresh shrimp can be purchased directly from the shrimp boats, and charter boat operators offer fishing excursions in the abundant waters of the Mississippi Sound. You will also find a public boat launch where guests of Front Beach Cottages can use our kayaks to visit the Barrier Islands or explore the bay waterways.

Ocean Springs is an artistic community with multiple museums and galleries showcasing fantastic works of art including the famous Walter Anderson Museum of Art, the Mary C. O’Keefe Cultural Center, and Shearwater Pottery. Only a short drive over Biloxi Bay Bridge you can also visit the award-winning campus of the Ohr-O’Keefe Museum of Art and the Maritime and Seafood Industry Museum, and even take a ride on the historic Biloxi schooners to see the Gulf Coast from the waterside.

While in Biloxi, you can try your luck and experience top entertainment at the area’s many casinos, including The Golden Nugget, Harrah’s Gulf Coast, The Palace (the Coast’s non-smoking casino option), Hard Rock Casino, IP Casino and The Beau Rivage.
