We are just a block and a half away up from Front Beach in Ocean Springs. We are also just three blocks from all things downtown, and both are an easy stroll through a very nice residential neighborhood.

We currently offer two cottages that are dog-friendly. Our Key West Cabana and our Bellande Cottage can each accommodate dogs of 35 pounds or less. A $30 pet fee will be charged per dog, and we allow a maximum of two dogs per cottage. Dogs must be on a leash at all times while outside of the cottage you are residing in, and you must clean up after your pet.

Unfortunately, we are not able to allow cats in the cottages. We truly love all feline friends; however, we have found that guests with allergies may suffer from severe allergic reactions due to the presence of cats if they are allowed inside of our cottages, so they are simply not permitted.

Front Beach Cottages is an exclusive property where every guest reservation is both important and special to us. If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least fifteen (15) days prior to your arrival date to cancel your reservation. In the unlikely event that you must cancel within two weeks (14) days of arrival, shorten your stay or check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation. Rates/policies are subject to change and vary during high impact periods, festival or event weekends and special requests. A 30-day cancellation notice is required on whole property bookings, holidays and special events. Weather-related cancellations are subject to owner's approval.

Please understand there are no exceptions to this policy as we are a very small business with only four cottages. We are happy to offer "Worry-Free Booking" through our partners at Resnexus. If you choose to purchase Worry-Free Booking at the time of the reservation for an additional 10%, you are given a full refund of the reservation should you cancel within two weeks or less of your set arrival date. There are specific reasons they allow for reimbursement, so please check details when booking your stay through our Resnexus partner, or you can refer to their website for more details: https://worryfreebookings.com/

Our average length of stay is usually three to four nights; however, we have offered one or two month stays during our slower season upon request (December to February). We will be happy to accommodate longer stays during those months based upon availability.

We typically require two or three night stays during the weekends and summer season; however, we are happy to accommodate one night only reservations on Sundays through Thursdays.

Absolutely! Large groups are invited to reserve all four cottages based on availability. Also, the definition of 'Lagniappe' is 'a little something extra', and our Lagniappe Cottage provides just that! The Lagniappe and NOLA Cottages have an adjoining door, which provides for the perfect accommodation for a large group or family looking to share a space.

Yes, you may park your car next to the proprietor's home (blue house) as soon as you arrive. Each cottage is allowed one car per reservation. There are a couple of extra parking spaces to accommodate visitors, but we do ask that you carpool in one car if possible. Please keep your car locked and valuables secured. Front Beach Cottages is not responsible for any missing or damaged items.

We do not have space available for a trailer; however, there is a public parking lot that is large and very well lit on Government Street if you need to park a trailer. You may park at your own risk.

Unfortunately, our cottages are not ADA compliant at this time. Our driveway/common area is covered in limestone. There are 3-4 steps leading up to each cottage entrance with no ramp access. None of the cottage bathrooms are currently handicap accessible. We do sincerely apologize for this inconvenience.

We are sorry to say that we do not have a pool on site. We wish that we did! However, we are such a short walk away from Front Beach in Ocean Springs! Fort Maurepas Park is located directly across the street from Front Beach and features a great splash pad for children. The Ocean Springs Yacht Club is less than one mile from Front Beach Cottages, and you are a welcomed visitor should you be an active member of another yacht club in the USA. Also, there are several fabulous casinos within a short driving distance that provide day passes to their pools for a small fee.

We are blessed to live on the Mississippi Sound! The Gulf Islands separate the mainland from the Gulf of Mexico, which creates an estuary and allows for a calm beachfront, but ultimately, no blue water. It is a beautiful beach and safe to swim in! Estuaries are a wonderful thing, because they provide safe environments for the growing shrimp, crabs, fish and oysters, and we all love this delicious seafood!
